11-9-07: X-rays
-------------------------------
A form of electromagnetic radiation that allows us to see through clothing and flesh to see the bones underneath. In my case, x-rays have been crucial in determining how well and how fast my broken bones have healed since the accident... and when I can go home and graduate to out-patient rehab.

Some extensive x-rays were done 11-5-07 on both my lower legs, right wrist and shoulder.

My neck continues to function like it did before. You wouldn't think I had a plate installed to hold together four fused disks... except for the cool 4-inch scare running horizontally across the front of my neck.
Next up: an appointment with another orthopedic doctor next week. Same day surgery likely to follow. In the mean time, I will continue to reside at the Vintage Faire Rehabilitation 'Resort' until I am able to... well, it wouldn't exactly be walking, but I am able to sort of hop/shuffle forward and back on a walker...
