We continued our walk along the seawall of False Creek to the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Admission was free for Canada Day. The main exhibit is the St. Roch, an historic arctic exploration vessel used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. It was the first vessel to sail the Northwest Passage from west to east (1940 – 1942). You can actually climb on to the boat and explore on, below and above deck. It has been restored as if time has stood still and the crew and passengers have vanished. Pretty cool...
