It was cold and rainy when we arrived at the Eielson Visitor Center. Since 1934, some visitor facility has existed on the Eielson Bluffs. It started with tents. Another center was built in 1960, before being closed in 2004 for four years of demolition and sustainable reconstruction. The center re-opened in 2008. (about the painting)
