Peggy had lodging reserved for three nights at Frenchie's Bed and Breakfast, which was just a few blocks from Earthquake Park... named after the huge earthquake that decimated much of Anchorage and surrounding areas in 1964. Today there is a bike/pedestrian path in the park that extends for 30 miles along the water's edge. Our destination: downtown Anchorage and back.
