June 24: "A snake with no apparent trauma incurred from the passing traffic, but not moving. I nudged it with a stick and it moved a bit. Cold-blooded animals, like snakes, like to warm themselves on a warm surface, like a road. So maybe this snake was not 'roadkill' after all.
