June 17: to South Beach State Park, Oregon
Alfred A. Loeb SP sits on the Chetco River about 10 miles east of Highway 1. If you ever camp there, you've got to hike the Riverview trail. It follows the north bank of the Chetco, crosses a road and loops through the northern-most grove of old growth redwoods. A little over 3 miles. I recommend it.
