We spent the night at the EconoLodge in Freeport, Maine... home of L.L. Bean... open 24/7, every day of the year. It was actually a series of stores, each specializing in everything. Please note: shorts are the preferred attire and Harley's have been uncovered to cruise the main street. Our visit to Maine was made extra-special because of the warm weather... weather which is subject to winter conditions 8-9 months out of the year.
