On the backs of each of the seats in the airplane was a screen with a credit card slot where one could pay a fee to watch selected TV shows or movies. It didn't cost anything, however, to watch the airplane's progress on a map across the United States from take-off to destination. This was one of three views; this being the highest, the others zooming in for more localized detail. Having a window seat, I would see mountain ranges, major highways, cities, and rivers (like the Mississippi over Arkansas and the state of Mississippi) and could identify what I was seeing...
