| At 9,200 feet, there was still a significant amount of snow at Kaiser Pass. There were volunteers blowing bubbles and cranking a siren to augment the sense of accomplishment riders felt as they reached the top. And the volunteers were way cool as they would immediately go up to riders and offer to rack their bikes, fill water bottles, or help you to a chair to catch your breath in the rarified air.
