Flight from San Francisco to Munich, Germany... and then to Athens, Greece.

Uneventful 4-hour drive up Highway 101 to San Francisco from Los Osos. We checked in our car at a nearby park-and-fly motel and caught a shuttle to the airport. There were no issues getting to the boarding gate being TSA Preferred (no taking off my belt and shoes)... thanks to Peggy's expert planning. She also arranged Premium Economy seating, more leg and arm room. It was worth it for the 10-hour flight to Munich aboard the German airline, Lufthansa. A couple of hours later, we took a smaller plane for the 2-hour flight from Munich to Athens, Greece... in the regular, tighter economy section.

NOTE: Because Greece is eleven hours ahead of us and the flight times, Peggy and I essentially lost a day... took off from San Francisco on October 8, landed in Athens, Greece, on October 9.
