Danny. He was the most gracious host at the B & B's we had stayed at so far on our Great Britain trip. Don't know too much about him other than he was from Scotland, but he was always there when we were there (3 nights in Bath), especially for breakfast (made sure Peggy always was well-supplied with cooked tomatoes), and was helpful with recommending place for dinner (The Bear). Take care, Danny, see you next time.

The first stop on our continuing journey around Great Britain were the Caen Hill Locks. Actually, I had been doing some internet research on locks and happened upon them in Wikepedia, told Peggy about them, who researched them herself and realized we were only 20 miles away. 29 locks with a rise of 237 feet in 2 miles. So off we went in the JellyBean to see them for ourselves

Then it was off to Paxford for our next overnight stay, a small town nestled in the English countryside with grazing sheep and an old stone church… which we could see from our 2nd story room above the pub at an establishment called the Churchill Arms. Peggy and I went for a walk through grazing sheep and cultivated land and blooming woodlands. Very pleasant.
