My favorite part of the British Museum were the artifacts from ancient Egypt. This is the "Mummy of Katebet", late 18th Dynasty, about 1300 BC. It was discovered in the 1820's in a tomb at Thebes, together with the mummy of a man named Qenna, possibly her husband.
