| It's also called the Wheel of York or, simply, the York Wheel, and opened in 2006. For 8.5 pounds, you get four revolutions in one of the 42 glass-floored gondolas and a brief stop at the top (54 meters). Interesting note I found when researching the imposing ferris wheel: it could be no higher than York Minster, York's skyline height limit. |
