| The suit of armor was for use in the field and tournament would have been used by of the French "Warman" or knight in the court of Mary of Guise as a show of skill at arms on horseback. This the second of seven tapestries called "The Unicorn is Found". The seven tapestries are about a huntsman who enters the woods and attacks a unicorn. The unicorn tries to defend itself, but is killed and brought to a castle. |
