| The Great Hall was built in 1503. The latest restoration was completed in 1999. Perhaps the most extravagant event was a feast to celebrate the baptism of James IV son, Henry, in 1594. A fully-rigged , 5m-long ship with 36 brass guns was wheeled in to serve the fish course. |
