Saint Peter's Church was originally built by the Canadian-Catholic community in 1853. It's where I officially received my "second" holy communion. I was a new 2nd grader and had gone to mass with the rest of my new classmates. When they walked up to the altar to receive the communion wafer, so did I... unknowingly. Sister Mariam nicely confronted me later during lunch and found out that I had not gone through the official first-communion ceremony.
