Meet Shades, a character from a BunceMan Comic strip. Shaxper first appeared in the October, 2003 issue of the Roadrunner Beeper, a Jr. High school newspaper.

Where the idea came from...

Timbuk3, a popular band from the 1980's, wrote a song called, "The Future's So Bright". In the lyrics, it mentions the need to wear shades. Shaxper was 1-dimensional; with Shades there was the opportunity to go 2-dimensional. Not only hands and feet, but some shades for a little bit of cool.
