The gentleman's name on the left is Sabin. He had been invited to speak to our group (with Luis as translator) about a drama of missing people who disappeared in Argentina during the military dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. Many babies and young children were kidnapped with their parents. Some were taken after their parents were killed and others were born in concentration camps. Though he was too young to remember, Sabin was one of those children. He would find out in his late teens that his parents were not his birth parents, and that he had a family and relatives that he did not know about. The trauma and realization of who he really was, and his adoptive parents not telling him the truth, would take Sabin years to reconcile. >>>
