We had some time in the morning in El Calafate before catching a flight to Buenos Aires. So Peggy and I went for a walk along the boulevard bordering the Laguna Nimez bird area… encountering yet another shrine to Gauchito Gil. Arriving back in Buenos Aires, we shuttled to the hotel we had stayed at before. With some time in the afternoon, Peggy and I went for a short downtown walk. Not too many photos to take I hadn’t already taken. As a tour group, we got together about 6pm and set out for a Argentinian grill for a farewell dinner. Some of us would be heading back to the States the following day, and others would continuing on to the post-trip extension to Iguassu Falls.
