We stopped here ten years ago for lunch... because, like now, this off-the-main-drag eatery offered a 1-pound burger. Then, I ate a 1/4 pound, but did see others (probably loggers) order the 'logger' burger. At the time, though, there were other aspects which were different: car seats, both bucket and bench, to sit on around the tables; and the waitress and cook were smoking cigarettes. Of course, things have changed in 2008. The car seats were replaced with conventional seating and the waiter (also the owner) was not smoking. I told him of what I had remembered the last time I had lunch there. Apparently, shortly after our first visit, the eatery sat vacant for five years, then was bought and reopened by our waiter... who knew nothing about the car seats (but said he would inquire) AND was the 6th child of 12 in a catholic, military family (of which 'catholic/military' I of 5 can relate). Anyway...
