To get to Cape Flattery, you must enter the Makah Indian Reservation and get a $10 permit to put on your dash. The road is now paved (it wasn't 10 years ago) and brings you to about 3/4 of mile from the cape itself. Park and proceed to some very cool wooden pavers, boardwalks and lookouts along the way to the north west corner of the contiguous U.S.
