June 18: Beacon Rock to Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument
Of course, we've only seen a small part of Washington state, but our hikes continue to be through lush, green vegetation, more waterfalls and more of those dull-colored slugs I mentioned earlier... of which Peggy has given another name. Then there's Mt. St. Helens. The scale of the mountain, from 75 miles away, 50 miles away, from 5 miles away...
