June 15: Crater Lake to Cottage Grove Lake
With the heavy snowfall in Oregon last winter, the rivers were gushing. And the mountains... jumping out of the distant landscape like snowy daggers on the horizon. Sure, California has waterfalls, but I would only begin to be awed by precipitous waterfalls to be seen in Oregon. Then there's sunsets on the coast... inland sunsets can be just as inspiring...
