The route: about 9 miles down Los Osos Valley Road from Los Osos, then right on Prefumo Canyon Road (pretty steep for about 2 miles), which turns into dirt for a mile or so before turning into See Canyon Road on the other side of the ridge... which provides an amazing view of the coastline from the top.
