Mrs. Trabucco Store of Bear Valley is located on Highway 49, 10.5 miles south-southeast of Coulterville, at an elevation of 2054 feet... population of 125 as of 2010. Starting around 1850, it was called Haydenville, then Biddle's Camp, Biddleville, Simpsonville, and Johnsonville... before it became Bear Valley in 1858.
